The jobs page is the cross-day, cross-status view of every HVAC job in the system. Use it for backlog, planning, and reporting — for "what's on the truck today?" use dispatch.
What you can do here
- Search and sort with the full data table.
- Filter by status, priority, type, technician, and date range.
- Create a job with title, type, contact, account, location, technician, scheduled date and time.
- Open a job to see full detail, status history, and notes.
Job types
- Service — a repair visit.
- Install — equipment installation.
- Maintenance — recurring service.
- Emergency — same-day urgent work.
Statuses
- Pending — created but not yet on the schedule.
- Scheduled — booked for a date and time.
- In progress — tech is on-site.
- Completed — work is done; pre-invoice.
- Invoiced — billed.
- Cancelled — won't happen.
Priority
Low, normal, high, urgent. Affects how dispatch surfaces the job and how it sorts in the list.
Tips
- Don't leave jobs in pending for long. If you can't schedule yet, the contact or location is probably missing — fix that first.
- Use cancelled rather than deleting jobs that fell through. The history matters for reporting and for the customer record.
